We never grew out of staring at album covers.
Thousands of hours lost in gatefolds, sleeves, posters, tape spines, jewel cases — Dio’s Holy Diver, Iron Maiden’s Killers, Slipknot’s Vol 3: The Subliminal Verses, the ones that stop time. The art that doesn’t explain itself. The art that burns a hole in the wall and refuses to leave.
We’ve stood in front of those images long enough to feel the room change. When the light dims and the air thickens, you feel something staring back.
D*A*W*N is what happens when we stop resisting.
A monthly transmission from a place that may or may not exist — part memory, part fever dream, part warning. Some pieces are fragments of real history. Others never happened. All of them feel like they could.
This is not mood-board nostalgia. This is the fire that album art lit inside us, still burning.
Step inside. The journey doesn’t explain itself. And inspiration never ends.
